About the role:

As the Latam Talent & Culture Lead at propelland, your role will be to implement, support and drive the best practices in talent development, employee engagement, HR and recruitment; aligning these with the overall business vision and strategy.  You will partner with the Latam Regional Director, our Global Talent Director and the Regional Leads, to deliver thoughtful and helpful people experience initiatives that optimize the engagement and wellbeing of our propellers.

The ideal candidate will be someone who is eager to drive best practice across talent and culture, and consistently encourages a high level of engagement through a great people experience for all propellers.

What you'll do:
/ Recruitment

– Recruitment: Partner with leads in staffing and growth strategy with a solid understanding of the business demands, goals, and metrics.

– Own employer branding: You’ll work closely with cross functional partners to strategize, build, maintain, and optimize all employer branding touch- points (including LinkedIn, Glassdoor, our career page, JDs, etc).

– Own recruiting and onboarding processes: Optimize and execute all recruiting processes from role sorting to debriefs to candidate offers. Facilitate and coordinate the best onboarding of the new propellers.

– Build talent pipelines: You’ll integrate sourcing strategies and opportunities that will meet the demand for a diverse pipeline of candidates (full time & contract) for current and future needs.

/ Workforce Planning & Analytics

– Own the workforce analytics and planning processes: Evolve our analytics from a data and basic reporting (transactional) to a predictive analytics system in order to anticipate, plan and respond to the business needs in terms of Talent and Skills of our workforce.

/ Talent Development

– Performance Review: Facilitate Mid Year Reviews (Jun-Jul) and 360 End Year Reviews (Dec-Jan) and Nine Box Matrix processes.

– Setting Objectives: Help and accompany setting SMART goals, talent discussions and calibrations to ensure performance management stays on track and is on-going.

– Training: Help facilitate and promote the Global Training program in Latam, and identify specific regional development needs across soft and hard skills.

– Addressing regional needs: Lead as a content creator or vendor identifier for addressing skill gaps between talent and deliverables.

– Succession Plans: Help the Regional Director in the definition of the teams succession plan to promote engagement.

– Proactivity and Ownership: Generate new ideas, tools, processes, and partnerships to keep propelling the wellbeing and growth of this platform of extraordinary talent.

/ Employee Experience

– Serve in coach and advisor roles to studio leaders and managers to understand and execute on the levers that drive engagement, foster an inclusive environment, and create a great experience for people working at Propelland.

– Develop and ensure timely and flawless administration of key employee experience touch-points (HRIS, Leave administration, New Hire and Termination paperwork, etc.

– Implement and drive key initiatives that impact onboarding, talent retention, engagement, and career development in the studio.

– Propelland’s Employee Engagement (ENPS): Design and implement initiatives that expand engagement, celebrates passion, and promotes career success.

Mediate feedback conversations when necessary.

– Communicate global and regional HR initiatives, policies, and processes in a timely and confident fashion in all the studios in the region (current and future ones).

– Compensation: Help to create a competitive and attractive workforce benefits package and a balanced compensation policy at all the levels, in the region.

– People first: Build credibility and trust among propellers with their best interests and wellbeing in mind. Resolve employee concerns through compassion, a systematic approach, clear documentation and follow-through.

– Serve as innovative HR Thought Leader in your region and on the global Talent & Culture team serving ideas for discussion on best practices and new ways of shaping a world-class employee experience.

– Active curator of the Employee Experience: Proactively identify opportunities to improve employee experience and collaborate with management to develop and implement lasting solutions.

– Compliance: Partner with external legal counsel when necessary to ensure compliance with employment and corporate legislation, providing direction to managers to proactively mitigate risk to Propelland.

– Work with Regional Director, Global Talent Director and Regional Leads to develop effective organizational structures, job design and leveling that drive propeller engagement and offer value and growth to individuals and their teams.

Does this sound like you?

– Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field, i.e. Business, Marketing etc. 

– Previous experience in a consultancy/multidisciplinary company similar to propelland.

–  7 years of experience in HR, including knowledge of principles and practices across compensation, benefits, employee engagement and relations, recruitment and selection, training and development, performance management, employment law and compliance.

– Strategic, cross-functional thinker with a strong bias for action and implementation.

– Exceptional relationship building skills and experience working with stakeholders to create clear and implementable processes.

– Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills coupled with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple competing tasks.

– A demonstrated ability to apply leadership and effective negotiation skills.

– Passion for Team Design and Culture Building

– Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication (oral and written), and presentation skills (Spanish & English).

– Based in Mexico City (or nearby).
