About the role:

As our Senior Data Project Manager, you will lead our data hub, focusing on Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) to enhance digital product performance through strategic data management and analysis. Your core mission involves translating data insights into actionable business strategies, backed by a deep understanding of data governance, quality management, and privacy standards. You will skillfully lead cross-functional teams, fostering seamless collaboration among data scientists, analysts, and IT specialists. The ideal candidate will be proficient in data analytics tools, project management software, and agile methodologies. What you'll do:

– Lead the end-to-end management of digital product data, from briefing to performance analysis, providing valuable insights and recommendations for media, CRM, and design enhancements.

– Evangelize the importance of data within the organization, fostering a data-driven culture.

– Collaborate closely with technical teams for data development, integration, and ingestion into the data lake.

– Act as a facilitator, leveraging technology and data management expertise to improve data accuracy and timeliness.

– Collaborate with team members across different areas and geographies to enhance data governance processes.

– Analyze collected data to ensure accuracy and completeness.

– Support in generating business reports and analyzing digital KPIs.

– Engage daily with C-level clients, delivering proactive and insightful discussions.

Does this sound like you?

– Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.

– Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL for data manipulation, cleaning, and transformation.

– Deep understanding of data sources, visualization tools, and analytics, translating insights into business value.

– Knowledge of statistical analysis and predictive modeling tools for data optimization.

– Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik to create interactive dashboards and reports.

– Effective communication skills, teamwork, and customer orientation to understand business needs and present findings persuasively.

– Eager to learn new things, adaptability to change, and innovation to stay abreast of data analytics trends.

– Fluent in English; Colombian-based preferred, open to candidates based in Mexico or other South American countries.

– Be proactive and take ownership of tasks to drive project success.
