Mechatronics Engineer

We are a diverse group of thinkers, makers, hackers, and life-long learners tackling complex problems to improve people’s lives, with hubs in San Francisco, Madrid, Mexico City, Bogotá, and Singapore. Our talented and multidisciplinary teams have the privilege of working with Fortune 500 companies across industries and around the world. Small by design, we prefer to fly while others walk.

Part of the San Francisco innovation ecosystem, propelland is a global strategy, design, and engineering firm helping companies transform and grow. For the past 8+ years, we’ve brought to life products, services, businesses, and experiences that add value in people’s lives.

We are industry and solution agnostic, characterized by relentless curiosity. We work end-to-end beyond just research and strategy – covering everything from opportunity definition and discovery to MVP and go-to-market launch. To generate and implement innovative solutions, we partner with industry-leading clients and leverage our design thinking, business strategy, and engineering capabilities.

Propelland Latin America is looking for a creative technologist responsible for working with other designers, strategists, and technologists. You are an inventor and a maker. You understand the client’s needs, translate them into a compelling vision for the project, determine the best tools to use throughout the project, and execute on deliverables. You understand complex systems and how they impact people’s behavior. You will especially help translate ideas into artifacts and experience prototypes, help manage projects and build client relationships, and help execute on project deliverables. Your superpower is the ability to use your creativity and diverse range of engineering experience to explore solutions to a variety of problems. With a user-centric approach, you will tackle the design and prototyping phases of projects in order to bring to life digital and physical products that will have a positive impact in people’s lives.

Does this sound like you?

  •  You are creative with an engineering background; you are passionate about solving problems with the use of technology (software and hardware).
