About the role:
As a Creative Technologist Intern, you will embark on a captivating journey where innovation meets imagination. Your role will be to contribute your technical expertise and innovative thinking to help translate imaginative concepts into tangible magical artifacts and immersive experience prototypes. Collaborating closely with the design and project management teams, you’ll play a crucial part in bringing ideas to life while also developing essential skills for project management and client interaction.
What you'll do:
– Help to Translate ideas into magical artifacts and experience prototypes, help manage projects and build client relationships, and help execute project deliverables.
– Support the team throughout the full design thinking process and participate in design team reviews, sharing, and brainstorming by providing a technical feasibility perspective.
– Proactively explore new technologies and processes for rapid prototyping
– Share with the team technological trends and curiosities in a vast range of fields
– Your superpower is the ability to use your creativity and diverse range of engineering experience to explore solutions to a variety of problems.
Does this sound like you?
– Suitable Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/Electronics Engineering and/or Interaction/Industrial design or any other related field with hands-on experience in building things.
– Bringing ideas to life mindset.
– Design for manufacturing experience.
– Good knowledge of Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Particle Photon, or any other embedded system of choice.
– Understanding of design process and practices.
– An amazing portfolio in physical and digital prototyping.
– An Inventor, Maker, DIYer, and Hacker at heart.
– Obsessed with staying ahead of industry best practices and technologies across the world.
– Can communicate efficiently in English
Good to know:
– Fabrication techniques like CAD ,3D printing, CNCs, PCB etching, other cool things.
– No-code platforms like Webflow/Bubble/IFTTT etc.
– HTML/CSS/Javascript.
– Coding libraries like p5js/Processing/Open frameworks

About the internship:
– 6 months of internship.
– In our offices in Lopez de Hoyos , Madrid (with flexibility but is not a remote position).
– Full time dedication, 40 hours a week.
– To start in September.
– Salary 600 EUR/month.
