About the role 
As an Interaction Designer you will be collaborating with cross-functional teams to create integrated design solutions for a diversity of industries, scale and mediums. You should have 2-3 years experience working in UX/UI Design, Product Design, or Interaction Design; and have a great portfolio that showcases this experience.

Interaction Designers sit right in that sweet spot – caring about what people need, and making beautiful, engaging experiences for them.

What you’ll do 
  • Get to work with people come from diverse backgrounds (like product designer, service designer, business designer, creative technologist, and engineers); together you’ll prototype and quickly bring ideas to life. 
  • Get the opportunity to go out in the field and build empathy with users by conducting user research and identifying user insights and opportunity spaces, and transform these into powerful concepts and designs ready for implementation  
  • Use strategic thinking to tackle complex problems, addressing fundamental user needs and deliver impact.   
  • Craft compelling user experiences, and visualize them through user journeys, storyboards, service blueprints, user flows, wireframes and prototypes that communicate design details and rationale. 
  • Clearly communicate and present the work and strategic approach to internal teams and clients 
  • Design and prototype interfaces for mobile, web, embedded devices and more 
  • Get to use both your systematic and hands-on skills to define both macro- and micro-interactions. 
  • Own projects and deliverables, big and small. The details matter, and you’re committed to getting it done right.  

Does this sound like you?
  • 2-3+ years of product design experience, preferably with some previous experience at a design studio, agency or consultancy. 
  • Portfolio demonstrating a sophisticated approach to business, technology, and experience requirements in interaction design across multiple industries.  
  • You can clearly articulate the process, approach, and impact of your design in verbal, written, and visual presentation.  
  • Ability to plan, conduct, and moderate research studies and synthesize observations into insights and opportunities.  
  • You are fluent in fundamental interaction design skills, translating stakeholder goals and user research into elegant user flows, wireframes, and mockups.  
  • You can create beautiful user interfaces with tools like Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD. You also have a point of view on what good interaction design is about. 
  • Experience with how design systems can be used to organize, standardize, and enhance digital systems. 
  • Fluent in prototyping using tools like AfterEffects, Principle, etc. 
  • You have experience with no-code platforms such as Webflow or Bubble.io 
  • A big plus if you can code (JS/CSS/HTML/Objective-C, etc.) or have experience in electronics like Arduino or Raspberry Pi. 
  • You effectively convey your opinions to peers directly with clear expertise and humility. You encourage others to challenge or build upon your opinions. 
  • Addicted to staying ahead of industry best practices, developments, and trends in mobile, web, and HCI design. 
  • Motivated by feedback, and by the opportunity to improve in your role, in the work, and in how we work together as a team. 
  • The hacking mindset to constantly question the status quo and propose better ways of working.
