ROLE DESCRIPTION
Propelland Latin America is looking for an outstanding UI designer, with significant experience creating exceptional digital UI experiences at a top design firm in a Mid / Senior Design role. You must be able to translate UX wireframes, brand principles, mood boards, and requirements into stunning user interfaces for both B2C and B2B products. Experience creating scalable design systems for typography, color, components, and layouts. You are passionate about solving problems with the use of technology. Extensive knowledge in digital prototyping platforms such as Figma, Sketch, Framer, Adobe XD, hand-off tools such as Zeplin and Invision, and the development of applications at a proof of concept/prototype level for these platforms to enhance and create new user experiences. Under a maker mindset, we seek to bring ideas that add value to life agilely.

Once here you will…
- Work with a thorough understanding of the design process: Discovery: conducting primary and secondary research to gather visual trends and GUI good practices, translating insights into areas of opportunity; Conceptualization: designing visual concepts to materialize the ideas, creating compelling graphic user interfaces to validate with users; Prototyping: building functional prototypes to share back with our client partners and eventually working with engineering partners to bring the service, product or experience to life. Test: validating your design assumptions with real users through several types of user-testing techniques.
- Actively participate and help in the experience prototyping process, including researching potential technologies and developing working digital prototypes.
- Contribute to developing and cultivating a network of external resources of partners and collaborators.
- Create and refine product outlines, as well as develop prototypes.
- Demonstrate and test prototypes and completed applications.
- Incorporating user feedback into GUI design solutions.
- Provide clients and internal departments with end-user support.
- Document development processes, procedures, and application version histories.
- Asses design quality assurance process with development teams to ensure the proper implementation of the UI.
- Keep abreast with advancements in application design and new technologies.

- Outstanding verbal, writing, and presentation skills in English and Spanish.
- Must be comfortable debating, discussing, and defending your work with colleagues and clients.
- Knowledge of Design Thinking principles and methodologies, with a human-centered design approach to solving user needs with deep customer empathy.
- Understanding GUI differences between multiple platforms, mobile, tablet, and desktop, and optimizing the UI to match the specific devices.
- Proficient with design and prototyping tools, such as Figma, Sketch, and design hand-off to development using Zeplin.
- Experience with motion design and illustration is a plus.
- A good understanding of Web Technologies capabilities and limitations (Javascript, CSS, HTML5) is a plus.
- You are interested in developing your professional profile toward a holistic Digital Product Design consultant with a T-shaped skillset.
