About the role:
As an Accountant at propelland, you will be an integral part of our financial team, ensuring the accuracy, transparency, and efficiency of our financial operations. Your role will encompass a range of responsibilities, from managing transactions to providing valuable insights that contribute to our financial stability and growth. With your meticulous attention to detail and strong financial acumen, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our company.
What you'll do:
• Manage all accounting transactions
• Assistance with the preparation of the global annual Budget.
• Contribute to monthly local/global financial reports compared with the budget, including monthly P&L and BS.
• Billing monthly IC invoices in a timely and correct manner.
• Contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable Customer billing and collection monitoring (monthly income reports, projection).
• Supervise Bank reconciliations and biweekly local/global cash flow.
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
• Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity.
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
• Comply with financial policies and regulations.
Does this sound like you?
• Work experience as an accountant.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Practical experience with accounting software.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Pivot Tables.
• Experience with general accounting functions.
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree.
• Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus.
• Knowledge of IFRS and GAAP.
